Sip, Float, Listen.
A heart-opening cacao ceremony on the water.

Somewhere between stillness and movement, water and sky, we find space to listen — to our bodies, our hearts, and to each other.
Sip, Float, Listen is a small, intimate group experience for women (limited to just 5 participants) designed to help you soften, slow down, and reconnect with the feelings you’ve been setting aside in daily life.
Together, we’ll share a cup of ceremonial cacao — a gentle, plant-based medicine known for its ability to open the heart, ground the body, and deepen emotional connection. As the cacao begins to work, you’ll lie back on a paddleboard, floating gently on the river, letting the movement of the water and the sounds of carefully chosen healing music guide you inward.
With an optional eye mask, you’ll be invited to turn your attention fully to your body, your breath, and your emotions — supported by my guidance as a therapist and the presence of the women around you.
This is not a space to perform or “be okay.”
It’s a space to feel — whatever needs to be felt — and to let it be held with safety.

FAQs About Sip, Float, Listen
Q: What is cacao?
A: You may have seen cacao as a listed ingredient if you’re into chocolatey foods – cacao is the raw unprocessed fruit from which chocolate is made. 100% ceremonial grade cacao, when not combined with sugar or other ingredients like dairy, can work on the 5HT receptors in the brain, having a potential effect on serotonin levels. The use of this as a medicine combined with intention to feel can be incredibly grounding and heart-opening for individuals looking to schedule time for their inner child and feel.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Although our pets can be incredibly soothing, healing and in touch with our emotions, they can distract from our ability to fully attend to our needs, and only our needs, during this session. Please leave your furry friends at home for your ceremony.
Q: Do I need to become a member to participate in Sip, Float, Listen?
A: As these group healing sessions are exclusive to our healing community, membership is required to participate. The membership is a one time fee of $25 in addition to the session fee.
Q: What if I’m not ready to be a part of a group healing session and want an individual session?
A: If you’re wanting an individual cacao ceremony, I am more than happy to provide you with one and would want to make sure that we are on the same page in terms of treatment and recommendations. Please reach out to me if you have any concerns so that we can chat about options.
Q: What does a cacao ceremony look like?
A: Each ceremony can be incredibly different from another given a person’s intention and the groups intention as a whole, but will all have similarities in terms of structure. We will meet at the shore and then paddle out together where we will be floating anchored in the middle of the Big Deschutes River. The place where we will be floating is about a 1-2 minute paddle from the shore. Once we are all settled and tied together, we will all take a moment and get grounded with our feelings and set an intention for our ceremony and share, if you feel comfortable. Then we will get settled onto our boards and listen to music – eye masks are optional here. If anything arises where you feel the need to share with someone, I will be here to listen and support as needed throughout this time of deep feeling. You may feel some intense feelings and that is totally normal and okay. Once the feelings feel a bit more settled down, we will gather together for closure and a last moment of sharing and integration before parting ways.
Q: I don’t have a paddleboard. Can I bring a raft or rent one?
A: As I need to be able to get close to you if necessary during the ceremony to provide any needed support, a paddleboard is strongly advised. Paddleboards and paddles are available for rent for an additional fee and must be returned upon completing the ceremony. Please note that if you are wanting to rent a paddleboard, you must let me know in advance so that I can bring one for you.
Q: What will be provided to me during the ceremony?
A: Ceremonial cacao, a small journal, and a writing utensil will be provided during the ceremony. The journal is just an option as sometimes it can help to process feelings through drawing or writing.
